The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has announced that it will be conducting a public auction of seized real estate properties worth P52.8 million on the fourth week of November.
According to the notice posted by BIR Revenue Region No. 6, six properties will be auctioned off at the Ground Floor Entrance Lobby of the Manila City Hall on November 26 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Among the properties up for grabs are three residential units and two commercial land lots located mostly at the Sampaloc district, with minimum bid prices ranging from P2.02 million to P15.01 million.
On November 28, the public auction for two residential lots will take place at the Ground Floor Entrance Lobby of the Quezon City Hall, also starting at 9:00 am.
Prospective buyers are advised to visit the BIR website for the auction guidelines. Foreign nationals, corporations, and revenue employees and their relatives are prohibited from bidding.
In addition, the taxman reminded interested parties that the real estate properties will be on an “as is where is” basis.
